About Richard

As a dedicated singing tutor with Master’s degrees in Music, I bring 10 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. My lessons focus on combining technical mastery with expressive performance and musical creativity. I emphasise posture, breath control, tone, resonance, and vocal flexibility. Students also practise phrasing, dynamics, vibrato, and emotional interpretation. Lessons are personalised to match individual goals and musical preferences. Performance coaching, stage presence, and confidence-building are included. Students explore various genres to enhance versatility and creative expression. Vocal care, warm-ups, and safe practice are emphasised for long-term vocal health.

Feedback is detailed, constructive, and designed to ensure measurable progress. Lessons balance structured technical training with interactive and creative exercises. I encourage discipline, patience, and artistic curiosity. Over time, students gain control, expressive confidence, and musical maturity. My mission is to help every singer perform beautifully, skilfully, and authentically.

About the lesson

My singing lessons focus on helping you find your true sound while mastering solid technique. The first part of each class focuses on breathing and alignment. Warm-ups are designed to activate the voice gently and safely. We then work on tone building, resonance, and vowel placement. Lessons also include scales and rhythm exercises for coordination and timing. Students learn pitch accuracy and vocal agility through guided drills. I introduce expressive techniques such as dynamics and emotional phrasing. Song performance is integrated to build interpretation and confidence. Each session is engaging, structured, and supportive.

You’ll also learn how to take care of your vocal cords effectively. Feedback is constructive and personalised after every practice. My lessons encourage creativity, discipline, and consistent improvement. Students are guided to perform with authenticity and control. Over time, you’ll develop both vocal strength and expressive artistry. The goal is a confident singer who performs with clarity, beauty, and connection.
