About Agrata
Hello! My name is Agrata and I'm 19. I am a literature student. I have been learning Indian classical vocal since I was 10 years old. I have a degree in Indian classical music and have perfomed in various competitions and managed to win as well! I have a passion to teach people music so here I am.

I can teach my students western, classical, semiclassical, folk or all of them depending what students want to learn. Since I strongly believe in the quote, "you can't build a great building on a weak foundation", I will start my class with the practice of seven swaras (7 notes ). After practicing swaras we can practice the songs that students would want to learn. I would also teach ragas, give basic theoretical knowledge about Indian classical music that is needed. My teaching method and course will be dependent on the type of music students want to learn. I will teach breathing exercises and tactics that would help in holding your breath while singing.
