About SarahAnn
I am an opera singer from Cortlandt Manor, New York, with a Master of Music in Vocal Arts from the Bard College Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory.
As a soloist, I have appeared in prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the National Opera Center, Sarasota Opera, Jordan Hall, and the Kravis Center. I have trained from leading voice teachers and coaches in the industry and hope to share the skills I have gained with students hoping to start their journey.
I have previously taught for education programs at the Aspen Music Festival, Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Days in the Arts at Tanglewood, and New England Conservatory in singing, musical theater, and musicianship skills. Through working with singers of all levels, I hope to empower performers with the tools needed to shape their unique voice and skill set. My teaching method encompasses aspects of many disciplines through proper breath and support, healthy and natural singing of all styles, and dramatic integrity. I also specialize in audition preparation, sight reading, and languages.

My teaching philosophy is to teach you how to use and connect with your voice in the healthiest and most efficient way. No matter the style, singing is always about vocal freedom and communicating in a meaningful way.
My current performing experiences give students tools specialized to their unique gift. As a passionate and dedicated educator, opera singer, and formerly competitive triple threat, I take pride in providing encouragement and compassion in my teaching method while motivating you along the way!
