About Wallace
With 12 years of professional teaching experience, I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor who has guided nearly 150 students through different stages of learning. I teach students of all ages and skill levels.
My teaching style is student-centred and progress-focused. I take time to understand each student’s goals and challenges before designing lessons. I believe learning should be comfortable, motivating, and well-structured.
Lessons focus on tone quality, breath control, finger technique, rhythm accuracy, and musical understanding. I also include regular revision and progress checks so students clearly see their improvement.
What makes my teaching unique is my focus on individual progress and personal attention. My aim is to help students grow with confidence while enjoying the learning process.

I teach saxophone using a methodology focused on adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. Every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to their individual learning style, goals, and pace using demonstration, listening, and hands-on practice.
Flexibility is at the heart of my approach. Lessons evolve according to the student’s progress, interests, and motivation, keeping each session rewarding and inspiring. Collaboration allows students to explore improvisation, contribute ideas, and actively shape their learning journey, fostering both skill and confidence.
I cultivate a positive and encouraging environment where achievements are celebrated and challenges are embraced as learning opportunities. Lessons cover saxophone techniques, musical expression, improvisation, performance preparation, and theory, providing a well-rounded musical education.
In addition to saxophone, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and ensemble performance. My aim is to develop confident, versatile musicians who enjoy learning and performing music.
