About Elise
I am a Piano tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 740 students. My passion is helping learners discover their musical potential while developing confidence, creativity, and technical excellence.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with beginners, advanced performers, competition participants, examination candidates, and students pursuing music for personal enjoyment. This experience allows me to create highly personalized learning experiences that support different goals and learning styles.
I believe music education should balance technical discipline with artistic freedom. Students should learn not only how to perform accurately but also how to communicate emotion, meaning, and creativity through music.
Many students have successfully prepared for performances, competitions, graded examinations, and personal musical achievements through my guidance. Their success continues to motivate my commitment to helping learners achieve their full potential.

My Piano lessons focus on developing technical precision, artistic expression, performance confidence, and complete musicianship. I teach Classical Piano, Contemporary Piano, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Music Theory, Rhythm Development, Improvisation, Performance Preparation, and Musical Interpretation through a structured and personalized learning approach.
Students begin by developing strong foundations in posture, hand position, finger independence, note reading, coordination, rhythm accuracy, and listening skills. These essential skills create the framework for advanced musical development and confident performance.
As students progress, lessons incorporate scales, arpeggios, technical studies, expressive interpretation, dynamics, phrasing, improvisation, advanced repertoire, and performance coaching. Technical development and artistic growth are balanced carefully to ensure comprehensive musical education.
I integrate music theory directly into practical learning activities so students understand harmony, structure, rhythm, and musical analysis while applying these concepts immediately through performance.
Students preparing for examinations, recitals, auditions, competitions, or personal musical goals receive customized practice plans, detailed feedback, and structured support designed to maximize progress and confidence.
