Ally is a super engaging and fun teacher who meets her students where they're at! I take classes with Ally online, which is ideal for my schedule because I travel for work. At first, I was worried to take online classes, but Ally is really energetic, knowledgable, incredibly understanding and warm. She has extensive knowledge in all musical genres-- We've covered rep in classical, musical theater, pop, jazz to name a few! She has helped me strengthen my ability to read music and sightread, as well as teach me how to learn music by ear. My piano has improved immensely under her instruction due to the way she approaches technique and practice. She is far more dynamic than the teacher I had growing up. I recommend Ally as a teacher for all ages and experience levels.

I highly recommend Ally as a piano teacher! Ally has been teaching my daughter piano lessons for almost 4 years (starting age 9 and now she is 13 years old). Ally is very knowledgeable about piano, music theory and music in general. With Ally, my daughter works on scales, mastering a piano piece long term, sight-reading and music theory. Ally is personable and my daughter enjoys interacting with her. My daughter has learned to play a variety of music including classical, latin, jazz, movie themes, show tunes, and holiday music.
