About Amodu

Hi my name is Enoch, I am a dedicated Physics tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I graduated with a First-Class degree in Physics (4.65 CGPA) from Bingham University, and was the best graduating student in my department, with a record as the first student to achieve a First Class in the history of my university’s Physics program. This reflects not only my deep understanding of the subject, but also my commitment to excellence and discipline.

I approach teaching with professionalism, patience, and a genuine interest in my students’ progress. I understand that Physics can be challenging, so I focus on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I am reliable, well prepared for every lesson, and committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

My teaching is structured, clear, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I take pride in breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps while maintaining high academic standards. Whether you are preparing for exams or aiming to improve your overall understanding, you can expect focused guidance, consistency, and measurable progress.

With me, you are not just getting a tutor—you are working with someone who is committed to your success and growth in Physics.

About the lesson

I teach Physics in a way that makes complex ideas simple, relatable, and easy to apply. My focus is not just on helping students pass exams, but on ensuring they truly understand the concepts and can confidently solve problems on their own.

My teaching approach is concept-based, where I first build a strong foundation before moving into calculations and problem-solving. I break down every question step-by-step, making it easier to follow and understand. I also connect topics to real-life situations so students can see how Physics works beyond the classroom. My lessons are interactive, encouraging students to think, ask questions, and actively participate, rather than just listen. Alongside this, I include exam-focused strategies to help students approach questions correctly, manage time effectively, and avoid common mistakes.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material to reinforce understanding, followed by a clear introduction to a new concept. I then walk through worked examples step-by-step before guiding the student through practice questions. We also solve exam-style problems to test understanding, and I end each lesson with a summary of key points. Optional assignments are given to strengthen learning outside the session.

What sets me apart is my ability to simplify difficult topics in a way students can easily grasp, combined with a strong focus on exam success. I am patient, adaptable, and adjust my teaching style to match each student’s pace and level. As a First-Class Physics graduate, I bring both academic excellence and practical teaching experience into every lesson.

My lessons are suitable for a wide range of students, including secondary school learners (WAEC, NECO, GCSE equivalent), A-Level students, and undergraduate Physics students. I also prepare students for exams such as AP Physics and SAT Physics. Whether you are just starting out, struggling to understand certain topics, or aiming for top grades, my lessons are designed to help you succeed and gain confidence in Physics.

Amodu and I have been friends for the past three years, both in and out of the university. From his teachings, you will clearly see how deeply he understands each concept in physics, making it easy for any student who had no idea of such a concept to quickly understand it and see its applications in real life. Even when I had little time to prepare for a physics exam, he helped me understand the various formulas needed in the shortest time possible, and I easily understood it all and remembered it throughout the exam and moving forward.
I truly recommend Amodu to every student who is tired of reading physics and is now ready to study and understand it.

We actually met in the IJMB program where we did the same program in UniAbuja.
From what I can say about him, he's not only an exceptional person but a well-dedicated individual who puts all his efforts into seeing people excel in academics, particularly when it comes to areas of science, especially physics. He would organize a tutorial for us so that we could keep up in class. He's such a nice person.
