About Joel
I have 15 years experience as a professional photographer. Five years experience as a photography teacher and I hold an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the London College of Communication.
I have worked for companies including Getty Images, Agence France Presse, Transport for London, Nike, Royal Mail, the International Olympic Committee. I have a range of experience and a successful personal practice which I use to help you to become a better photographer.

My approach to teaching photography is based on teaching students the fundamentals of manual exposure and composition which is the foundation for become successful at any type of photography.
For more intermediate students we look at developing personal style, explore more advanced techniques and how handle tricky lighting and composition problems.
I also do personal mentoring and can tailor my approach to individual needs.
