About Carmen-Rose

I’m Carmen-Rose — a performer, storyteller, and coach shaped by a decade with the Walt Disney Company, early training at ArtsEd, and a 1st Class Acting degree. My work sits at the meeting point of technique and imagination, where performers learn to trust their instincts, breathe into their creativity, and let their stories land with honesty. I’m currently completing an MA in Dramatherapy, which subtly enriches my teaching with a thoughtful, emotionally aware approach. It helps me create spaces where students feel grounded, supported, and free to explore without pressure. Across three years of teaching young performers, I’ve learned that confidence grows in warm, spacious environments — places where curiosity is encouraged, risks are welcomed, and every student feels genuinely seen. I teach with heart, clarity, and a belief that performance is both a craft and a way of understanding ourselves. I’m most inspired by the moments when a student surprises themselves — when a character clicks, a breath settles, or a spark of joy returns to the work. Those moments of connection and discovery are what I love helping students find, again and again.

About the lesson

My lessons are crafted to help you grow as a grounded, expressive performer. I specialise in Acting Technical Skills, Acting Through Song, Drama School Audition Preparation, and Vocal Health — weaving technique with creativity so you can build a toolkit that feels both powerful and personal. Sessions run 45–60 minutes, giving us time to breathe, warm up, explore exercises, and bring the work to life through monologues or performance material. I create a calm, encouraging space where you can experiment, ask questions, and discover what makes your performance uniquely yours. I teach all ages and levels, from first-time explorers to seasoned performers preparing for auditions or professional opportunities. Every lesson is shaped around your goals — whether you’re strengthening foundations, refining your voice, or stepping into a new chapter of your craft. My aim is simple: to help you shine with honesty, creativity, and joy — and to leave each session feeling more connected to your voice, your story, and your artistry.
