About Michael
I am a professional performer and studied the trombone as my main instrument and gig on the horn 90% of the time but also perform as a dummer once and a while. Running a 28 person brass band, working with students facing a variety of cognitive and mental challenges and most recently starting a rock and with the homeless folks in Salem. I would love to share my knowledge of musicianship and professional performance to work on grooving and speaking the language of multiple styles/genres through the percussion instruments we're learning together.

I’ve been learning from mike for about 10 years now. Every time we get together I learn a new trick In musicality or trombone playing. He’s always full of advice and is a really sharp guy. Can certainly teach beginners-professionals!

Details
I'd love to teach as many students as possible, especially since many band programs are not going to be offered this year with the pandemic. Let me know whatever you can pay and we can definitely make it work- it's more important than ever to make music and have some fun together during these once in a lifetime events that have effected everyone.
