About Konstantin

I'm Konstantin Ladurner, professionally known as Kontent, a music producer originally from the Italian Alps and now based in Los Angeles. After developing my sound in Berlin's music scene, I moved to LA in 2020, where I've spent the past six years working with artists across alternative hip-hop, pop, indie, and K-pop.

I've been producing music for over 10 years and studied Independent Music Production at UCLA Extension in 2020. Along the way, I've also developed my skills as a musician, playing piano, bass, and guitar.

My credits include producing Audrey Nuna and Deb Never's song 'sardines', as well as 'Doggie Pound' from Audrey Nuna's album 'TRENCH'. I've also worked with former 'Saturday Night Live' cast member Jay Pharoah, SVDP, Trevor Spitta, Akshara, and Pertinence. I executive produced Pertinence's debut album 'The Untimely Timing of Divine Timing', producing and mixing 11 of its 13 tracks. My production has also been featured in the NFL x Roc Nation's 'Songs of the Season' initiative, in the famous game 'Fortnite' as well as TV shows on Hulu.

As a producer, I'm passionate about exploring unconventional sounds, blending alternative hip-hop with left-of-center pop, and finding creative ways to bring an artist's vision to life. I believe great production is about more than knowing your software. It's about developing your ears, understanding what makes music connect with people, and discovering your own sound.

That's the perspective I bring to my lessons. I want to share what I've learned through years of making records, collaborating with artists, and solving real-world production challenges, while helping each student develop the skills and confidence to create music that feels uniquely theirs.

My lessons are built around one goal: helping you turn the music you hear in your head into reality.

I'm Konstantin, a professional music producer based in Los Angeles, where I've spent the past six years working with artists across alternative hip hop, pop, indie, and K-pop. My credits include producing, mixing, and executive-producing projects for artists such as Audrey Nuna (known for her role in KPop Demon Hunters) and Jay Pharoah (Saturday Night Live), as well as placements in the NFL's Songs of the Season and on Hulu TV shows. These experiences have given me hands on knowledge of both the creative and technical sides of making records.

My teaching approach is practical, personalized, and focused on your own music. We'll work directly in Ableton Live, covering beatmaking, sound design, sampling, arrangement, vocal production, mixing, music theory, and creative workflow, depending on your goals and experience.

A typical lesson might involve breaking down a track you love, building a beat from scratch, improving a mix, or finding new ways to develop your sound. I'll explain not just 'how' to do something, but 'why' it works, so you can develop your ears, trust your instincts, and become more independent as a producer. We can also troubleshoot problems you're facing in your DAW or focus on whatever you feel is holding you back creatively or technically.

Whether you're a complete beginner, an intermediate producer looking to level up, or an experienced musician wanting to explore more modern production techniques, we'll tailor every session to you. My goal isn't to teach you to copy someone else's sound, but to help you develop your own artistic identity and make music you're genuinely excited about.
