In my experience each person learns things in their own way. I have been a tutor for over 10 years, tutored over 100 students and no two students have been the same. Some people need a lot of detail, while others don't. Some people need to connect what they are doing to real life and others just want to know the steps. Everyone's mind works differently, so you need to present the material in a way that makes sense.

I am a professional Math Tutor with 15 years experience tutoring middle school math, prealgebra, algebra 1&2, geometry, precalculus, and college algebra now in the Southwest Broward of Florida. I also have experience tutoring mathematics test preparation in SAT, ACT, PERT, HSPT and ASVAB. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Rutgers University. I try to tailor my lessons so my students can understand and love math!
