About Bishop

As a self-taught game developer with a strong foundation built through books, online courses, and real-world coding experience, I bring both passion and practicality to my C# lessons. I work as a freelance developer on Fiverr, where I consistently earn over $100 per month delivering quality software solutions for clients around the world. This hands-on experience ensures that my teaching is grounded in current, real-world programming practices. In addition to my development work, I’ve mentored secondary school students, helping them build coding confidence, understand core programming concepts, and improve their problem-solving skills. I know how to break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps—especially for GCSE and A-Level students who are just beginning their journey into software development. I'm committed to creating a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and grow at their own pace. With me, you’ll not only learn C#—you’ll learn how to think like a developer.

As a C# tutor, my approach is hands-on, practical, and tailored to each student's goals. I believe programming is best learnt by doing, so I focus heavily on real-world examples, exercises, and interactive problem-solving. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to advance your skills for academic or professional reasons, I adapt the pace and content to suit your level. Lessons typically last 60 to 90 minutes and are structured around clear learning outcomes. Each session includes concept explanations, live coding demonstrations, and coding challenges to reinforce learning. I also provide feedback on personal projects and offer guidance on best practices in software development. I hold a degree in Computer Science and have over 5 years of experience as a professional game developer, including mentoring junior developers. I've tutored students from high school through to adult learners looking to change careers or upskill for work. These lessons are ideal for secondary school students, university students, coding bootcamp participants, or anyone curious about C# and software development. Whether you're preparing for exams, interviews, or building your own games, I’m here to support your journey.
