About Sejal
I have 5+ years of professional experience teaching at an institute across all age groups (3rd grade to adults) to drive academic outcomes. I lived in France, teaching children ages 5-9. I've also taught college-level students. I am certified by Alliance Francaise at B2 level. I am a polyglot, fluent in 5 languages and am learning a couple more. I am a published poet. I have a deep interest in literature. I have worked as a copywriter.

Language and teaching are my passion. My approach: I focus on helping my students build intuition for the language so that they can enjoy exploring the language by themselves. I lean on an intimate familiarity with the inner workings of the language, i.e., the intention that hides behind the grammar. I rely on my proficiency across 5 languages to help my students identify parallel structures as well as the rhythms and music that make French what it is. My pedagogy: I focus on pronunciation and use songs, videos, articles to bring the language to life. I employ worksheets, listening exercises, flashcards to solidify learning. My lessons are well-suited for children as well as adults for schoolwork, traveling in France and personal projects.
