About Ivy

I am a French tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 840 students. My passion is helping learners become confident French speakers while developing practical language skills that support academic achievement, career growth, international opportunities, and personal development.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with school students, university learners, professionals, travelers, and individuals pursuing conversational fluency. This experience allows me to adapt lessons effectively to different learning styles and objectives.

I believe language learning should be engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful. Students achieve the greatest success when they actively communicate, apply new concepts consistently, and receive supportive feedback throughout their learning journey.

Many learners have improved pronunciation, fluency, examination performance, workplace communication, and overall language confidence through my guidance. Their achievements continue to inspire my dedication to language education.

About the lesson

My French lessons are carefully designed to help students develop fluency, confidence, and practical communication skills through speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar development, pronunciation improvement, vocabulary expansion, and cultural understanding. Every lesson is adapted according to the learner's goals, strengths, and current proficiency level.

Students participate in guided conversations, pronunciation exercises, listening comprehension activities, reading assignments, writing workshops, grammar-focused communication tasks, and vocabulary-building programs. These activities help learners strengthen language proficiency while improving communication confidence.

I focus heavily on practical communication because language becomes valuable when students can use it naturally in everyday situations. Grammar concepts are introduced through meaningful conversations and real-life examples, helping students understand how French functions in authentic contexts.

Authentic French materials including articles, podcasts, videos, dialogues, cultural resources, and audio recordings are integrated into lessons. These resources improve comprehension while exposing learners to natural language usage and cultural perspectives.

Regular assessments, personalized learning plans, detailed feedback, and continuous support help students achieve measurable improvement while building confidence and independence as French speakers.
