About Stephanie

I graduated with my degree in music education from Abilene Christian University. I am an energetic, patient, and organized teacher. I currently am a band director in Houston, TX and have over 10 years in public education. I currently play professionally with the Sugar Land Winds band and have held positions in multiple symphony orchestras in Houston, including the Galveston Symphony.

About the lesson

I plan my private lessons based on the needs and current playing ability of my students. My lessons are energetic, timely, and organized. I make lesson goals with the student to encourage and promote the most learning possible. There is never a dull moment in my lessons because we play the whole lesson to develop our musicianship and instrument technique.
