About Nali

I am a Professional Engineer (MIEAust) with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Queensland. I have over 10 years of engineering and problem-solving experience in manufacturing, research, and industry, where mathematics plays an essential role every day.

I have always enjoyed helping others understand challenging concepts, and I believe that with the right guidance, every student can become confident in mathematics. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and focused on building a strong understanding rather than simply memorizing formulas.

Whether you're preparing for exams, catching up on classwork, or aiming for top results, I will tailor each lesson to your individual learning style and goals. I strive to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence.

I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and discover that mathematics can be both understandable and enjoyable.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, so my lessons are tailored to each student's needs, learning style, and goals. Whether you're aiming to improve your confidence, catch up on schoolwork, or achieve top marks in exams, I will create a structured learning plan to help you succeed.

My lessons are suitable for Year 7–12 Mathematics, including General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, and Specialist Mathematics. I also provide support with homework, assignments, exam preparation, and problem-solving techniques.

Each lesson includes:

* Clear explanations of difficult concepts using simple, easy-to-understand examples.
* Step-by-step solutions to build strong mathematical foundations.
* Practice questions with guided feedback.
* Exam strategies and time-management techniques.
* Regular progress reviews to ensure continuous improvement.

Lessons are available online via Google Meet, Teams or Zoom, or in person in the North Brisbane area. After each lesson, students receive summary notes and additional practice questions to reinforce what they have learned.

As a Professional Engineer with a PhD, I bring real-world problem-solving experience into my teaching, helping students understand not only how to solve mathematical problems but also why the concepts matter. My goal is to make mathematics enjoyable, build confidence, and help every student reach their full potential in a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
