About Julian

I’m a 2024 graduate of Virginia Tech, where I earned degrees in Mathematics and Engineering. I currently work as an engineer in the U.S. Navy, where I use problem-solving, analytical thinking, and mathematics in my day-to-day work.

I enjoy helping others understand math and making difficult concepts feel more approachable. As a tutor, I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, learn from mistakes, and build confidence in their abilities. I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students reach their academic goals.

About the lesson

As a mechanical engineer, I understand how important math is for solving real-world problems. I explain difficult topics in simple, easy-to-understand steps and adjust my teaching to each student's needs. I encourage questions and help students build confidence so they can solve problems on their own.
