About Oliver

A surprising idea that quickly catches on is like a blissful blow to the brain. Sometimes you even have to laugh. When a work of art, a funny drawing, a comic story does that to me, I am still grateful. The humor can be wild or quiet, mixed with philosophy or poetry.
I would like to pass on the passion for discovery that I feel myself, to search and search and search for ideas for surprising, funny and meaningful drawings and, if you are persistent, to finally find them. I am happy to put my years of training, my love of the profession and my precision at the service of teaching.

I have been developing and drawing funny ideas for comics and cartoons since I was at school, and have been doing it professionally for about 15 years. My work has been published in many magazines and books, and I have received several awards for my work.

About the lesson

Everyone who enjoys drawing, likes comedy and surprising pictures and wants to get better at creating them is very welcome.

Whether children, teenagers or adults, the lessons are adapted to the individual abilities and interests of the person.

teaching elements:
1. Picture examples from masters of comic drawing serve as orientation and for learning staging.
2. Playful exercises and tasks for students
3. Focus on training for idea generation
4. In-depth work on sketches. These help to find the best way of implementation.
5. I continually set small tasks throughout the lesson, discuss the results, give suggestions and criticism.
6. Suggestions and requests from students are gladly taken into account. Existing work or requested homework from a previous lesson can be brought in for criticism.
7. Relaxation when testing ideas, enjoyment of mischief and discipline when implementing an idea.
