About Justin

If you do not make a mistake, you're not learning. MISTAKES are key to learning a new language! Language learning is a game of trial and error within your brain. Until it can remember the previous, it will continue to make a mistake. Let's practice! I am a lifelong language learner! I love languages! With my university qualifications in Portuguese and Spanish language and my Teaching English as a Foreign Language education, I am here to gear the lesson to you!

About the lesson

For English as a Second Language lessons, only English will be spoken during each lesson. All lessons will be highly focused on speaking and listening. Topics for the upcoming lesson will be provided prior. You will be prepared to have everyday conversations with confidence!
Qualification/Education:
-Native English Speaker from California.
-TEFL Certificated

For Portuguese or Spanish as a Second Language lessons, you may choose between 90% English/10% Target Language or 100% Target Language for your lessons. If you have taken at least one class in your target language within the last 3 years, I'd recommend 100% Target Language. All lessons will begin with a conversation on a topic provided the class before. Colloquialism (s) may or may not be taught depending on your specific needs.
Qualifications/Education:
-Bachelor's Degree from UC Berkeley in Portuguese and Spanish Language and Literature

What sets me apart from all other tutors is my passion for language learning! I am passionate about personal language learning and the language learning of others! I believe that with language we can better the world! The countless skills and tips I have learned while learning languages will be easily translated into my tutoring lessons!

Let's change the world through language!
