About Phoebe

I am a professional actor with a First Class Honours Degree in Performance (Acting) from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Some of my acting credits include Shakespeare's Globe, Royal National Theatre, Bolton Octagon, Manchester's Royal Exchange, Buxton Opera House, EICC, New Diorama Theatre, Greenwich Theatre and the Canal Cafe Theatre. I have also worked on screen alongside director Edgar Wright in a global TV & cinema campaign.

I have been coaching for 6 years, teaching dozens of people of all ages. Previous students have gained places at prestigious drama schools such as Mountview, LIPA, LAMDA, and National Youth Theatre, received distinctions in LAMDA examinations, and have earned the role they were auditioning for after our sessions together.

About the lesson

I work creatively and collaboratively, workshopping material to unlock creative potential so the individual can make exciting discoveries and leave with a wealth of options for their scripts. My priority is to create a relaxed environment with no pressure, where we can work together with ease to explore the text in new ways.

Confidence building, creativity, communication, expression, and having a positive mindset are all at the centre of my practice. All of these are the key to success, and the key to being the best actor you can be.

Giverny was great to work with! We workshopped her speech for around an hour and unlocked a lot of exciting potential. She was much more confident with her speech by the end and had realised a lot of creative choices she could make. Fantastic work!

We worked through mock exercises which I might expect in the audition, and she taught me a lot about how to be confident and come across like that. We worked for 2 hours and the time flew.
