About Safa
Hi! I'm Safa, a Law student at Manchester Metropolitan University with a strong background in youth leadership, communication, and educational support.
Alongside my academic studies, I previously served as a Student Governor for The Pinnacle Trust and Students’ Union Representative at college, where I championed student voice and contributed to improving the learning experience for young people. I currently tutor with The Tutor Trust, delivering structured, inclusive sessions in Maths, with a focus on confidence-building, clear explanations, and addressing misconceptions.
Beyond tutoring, I am actively involved in national STEM outreach: I co-hosted the TeenTech Awards 2024 and now sit on the TeenTech Young Persons Advisory Board, soon taking on the role of Editor for the TeenTech Newsletter. I also coordinate events for Juris Sisters at MMU, supporting community engagement and professional development for students.
I have been tutoring students from 2023 onwards!
My interests include running, mountain biking, hiking, boxing, and reading, all of which help me bring energy, discipline, and balance to my work with pupils.
