About Pooja

I am a highly Proactive, dedicated, confident, and passionate professional in the field of Agriculture Plant Pathology (Mycology) who has a strong background in scientific methods, laboratory operations, and a wide range of techniques as evident from my educational qualifications.
With an education background in agricultural sciences Ph.D., I have gained significant experience in educating and training students as per the curriculum and managing academic affairs. In my previous role as associate professor (Chandigarh University India), I am responsible for delivering lectures and conducting practical’s, developing academic curriculum, improving academic programs and courses, content creation and updating the University information management system daily, other administrative tasks (BOS Meetings), and direction in day-to-day operations as well as performance review and workforce planning. I have been able to demonstrate sound and appropriate judgment in a wide range of supervisory and management situations during a time of significant change in my subject to be taught, additional charge, or team member. Additionally, being an academic and administrative coordinator for the last four years, I developed skills like interpersonal, and organizational abilities, and leadership qualities by supervising and guiding support staff involved in academic coordination activities, scheduling Proficiency in creating and managing schedules for classes, exams, and other academic events, strong Mentoring system, Student Advising and Support, Academic Advising committees, Student Support Services. • Teaching Experience: Having nine years of teaching experience in tutoring and mentoring students. Also, Expert in Mushroom farming.(Edible and medicinal) especially Cordyceps a highly prized mushroom costs 10 lakhs per Kg.
• Professional Development: Regularly attending conferences, workshops, and courses to stay updated with the latest advancements in agriculture.
