About Alex
I study Sinology at the University of Hamburg and have been dealing extensively with China and the ancient and modern Chinese language for the past three years. I have been gathering teaching experience in various subjects for over 7 years and would now like to bring schoolchildren, students and people who are interested im China and Chinese closer to the Chinese language and cultural diversity.

I have an overview of when something should be done, depending on how much time one can take for the lessons, and structure my them accordingly. I'm not fond of quietly working on tasks during class when you have limited time, but neither am I fond of mere monologues. I prepare a basis on which I can build an interactive lesson on and go through things until they are understood and can be applied. I am open to suggestions and take the time to deal with problems and questions thoroughly. If I deem it to be useful, I will assign homework or recommend exercises.
