About Sam

I am an expert teacher with 6 years of experience. It is difficult to calculate an exact number, but I think I have had more than a thousand students!

I gave private and personal lessons to numerous students during this time, from absolute beginners to an Italian writer who wrote in English.

I have always done my best to help them achieve or exceed their goals.

I have also worked in a variety of different institutions:
- Italian and French state high schools
- private language schools
- a French university

Hello! I'm Sam and I'm an English teacher from England. Do you need English lessons? I would like to help you!

If you need to:
- increase your confidence in spoken English
- improve the level of your general English or English for professional purposes
- prepare a Cambridge exam (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE)

Or maybe you just want to talk a little bit of English with a native speaker. That makes sense - we're not bad in the end (despite the food ...).

Whatever level you have, I can help you develop your English in a fun way (but not without studying, I'm sorry!).

Here's why I can help you:

- You will follow fun, effective and personalised lessons just for you as an individual. These are lessons I can prepare thanks to my 6 years of experience in teaching English (including 3 in Italy).

- You will feel at ease because I listen and respond to what you say. I identify with your learning journey and your difficulties, which were often mine when I learned Italian and French to a C1 level.

- To get the answers to your problems, you will be able to take advantage of not only the language skills of a native teacher, but also the in-depth knowledge I gained during my undergraduate degree at the University of Cambridge and my studies for Trinity CertTESOL (Trinity College qualification, London for English teachers).

The first lesson is always free - that way we can see if we get along.

The cost of the following lessons is negotiable and depends on the complexity of your needs.

Lessons take place only on Skype.
