About Hassan
I am a visual artist, have a master of visual art at the University of South Australia. I have an experience more than 13 years of teaching art at schools and University in Erbil, northern Iraq, since 2000-2013. I have two passions in life. The first is practising, exploring art. The second is working with children to help them create as well. My love of art started at a very young age. I was constantly drawing, painting, sewing, and frankly, ruining. I truly believe that all art generated by a child is going to be an amazing outcome.
Teaching was my first official job after graduation in 2000, in Iraq. I honed my craft while simultaneously expanding my horizons. A love of art grew into a love of helping others with their art, and eventually, teaching others.

I have a proven ability to provide high standard quality of care that is in line with current evidence-based models of practice and national practice standards. My commitment to continuing professional development, combined with my career experience and qualifications, allows me to confidently and capably develop innovative and responsive teaching services to meet my students. In my current role as an art teacher, I use a model of service and student’s participation as an important part of the program activities. I consistently evaluate interventions and initiatives using outcome measures and adjust my teaching program depending on the environment and circumstances.
