Private ballet coaching with former soloist with Pacific Northwest Ballet Alexandra Dickson. Lynch Dance Institute Director with 30+ years of professional experience

I had the privilege of teaching under Alexandra Dickson Lynch for several years at her school in Poway, CA, called Lynch Dance Institute. Alex is a phenomenal teacher who cares deeply about her students. She's an expert technician with a deep understanding of anatomy, artistry, and social-emotional wellness. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their technical dance abilities and their mind-body connection.

We’ve known Alex for over 4 years now and I have personally taken her adult classes at Lynch Dance Institute (LDI). Additionally, my daughter has taken ballet classes with Alex for 3 years now, since she was only 2.5 years old.

Alex is an exceptional artist, choreographer and ballet teacher with an impressive professional background and extensive knowledge of ballet. She brings a wealth of experience to every class and has a wonderful ability to share her expertise in a way that is both encouraging and inspiring. Her attention to technique and detail makes her a truly valuable teacher!

I have known Alexandra professionally since 2019. My four children have all attended classes with her, as well as one on one private lessons. I have also trained with her in ballet and pilates-style fitness. I appreciate her willingness to adapt while maintaining high expectations, immense knowledge of the body and movement, as well as her vast connections with other professionals and continuing education. I was most impressed when my eldest daughter spent an hour working on specific turn out and pirouette skills. The difference after that hour was astonishing PLUS my daughter begged to attend more lessons! Highly recommend.

Alexandra is such a gift as a teacher! She teaches both my daughters and my adult classes and is so thoughtful about everyone’s different needs. We absolutely love having her and highly recommend her!
