About Anna-Sofia
I achieved a grade 7 in GCSE Maths and am now studying to become a primary teacher at Oxford Brookes University, where I’m passionate about shaping the next generation of learners. I’ve always been enthusiastic about both learning and teaching, and I’m excited to pass on my knowledge and skills to help students succeed.
As a future educator, I believe that building a strong foundation in Maths is essential for students, not only for their academic success but for their confidence in tackling everyday challenges. I’m dedicated to creating an encouraging and dynamic learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and grow.

In my Maths lessons, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simpler, more digestible steps. My teaching methodology revolves around interactive problem-solving and real-world applications to make abstract topics more relatable. I use a combination of visual aids, step-by-step explanations, and regular practice to ensure students not only understand the material but also develop confidence in applying it.
Each lesson typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes, allowing us to cover new material, work through problems, and review any challenging areas. This structure helps students consolidate their knowledge and gain the skills needed to excel.
With a solid foundation in Mathematics and experience tutoring students from various backgrounds, I am well-equipped to support learners at different stages. My lessons are designed for students aged 11-16, particularly those preparing for their GCSE exams. Whether a student needs help grasping the basics or wants to push themselves with more advanced topics, my lessons are tailored to meet individual learning needs and goals.
