About Muniro

I am a qualified teacher with a degree in Primary Education, boasting a rich background of 5 years in the education field. During this period, I have accumulated valuable experience through my teaching roles, particularly in international schools in Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Over the course of my teaching career, which spans 3 years, I have honed my skills and gained a comprehensive understanding of various teaching strategies. This knowledge has equipped me to make a positive impact on individuals through tailored and effective teaching methods. In addition to my international experience, I have also contributed to the field of Special Education Needs (SEN) by working in a specialised school. This rewarding experience involved collaborating with children from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique special needs. This opportunity not only enriched my skill set but also provided me with a deeper understanding of different learning requirements. Furthermore, I have dedicated my free time to assisting primary students who struggled academically. Through one-on-one sessions and group work, I have actively engaged with these students, identifying their challenges and implementing effective solutions to enhance their academic performance. Throughout my journey as an educator, I have come to appreciate the profound impact teachers have on their students. Beyond imparting academic knowledge, I recognise the importance of instilling life lessons that students will carry with them throughout their lives. My commitment to fostering a positive and enriching learning environment reflects my passion for education and my dedication to the holistic development of students.

About the lesson

My primary goal is to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where every teaching session goes beyond mere instruction, fostering engagement, effectiveness, and enjoyment. To achieve this, I employ a variety of methods, incorporating visuals, professional development elements, and practical learning tools such as video clips, presentations, and interactive websites. These strategies ensure that students are fully immersed and actively participating in the lesson. Before delving into the content, I initiate each session by building on individuals' prior knowledge. This not only helps me gain insight into each student's background but also provides a clear understanding of the areas that require focus. Clearly outlining the learning objectives at the outset ensures that students are aware of what they will be accomplishing during the lesson. I accompany this with a brief summary, fostering a sense of direction and purpose. Recognising the importance of clear instructions, I ensure that students receive concise guidance, allowing them to approach tasks with a focused mindset. Throughout the lesson, I maintain an open line of communication, encouraging questions and clarifications. This post-lesson discussion period provides students with the opportunity to seek further understanding, reinforcing their grasp of the material. In essence, my approach to teaching goes beyond traditional methods, prioritising engagement, inclusivity, and clarity to create a positive and effective learning experience for every student.
