About Leanne
I am a mom of a 4 year old, and have been teaching for 15 years. I love to see the joy on a child's face when they realise they learn something, or they realise they can achieve what they didn't think was possible. I particularly enjoyed the Grade 1 year, where my students learnt to read and write. What a joy it is to see their confidence blossom.
Prior to becoming an online teacher I was in my own classroom and was at my previous employer for 6 years, so I am a loyal employee. I was often one of the first teachers at school, and one of the last to leave, as I take my job very seriously.
I have not always been a teacher, and first pursued the buisiness world with my BCOM. I left that world to study further and become a teacher and I haven't looked back.
I have since added to my teaching qualification and have just completed my TEFL certification.
