About Rachel
Hello!
My name is Rachel, and I am a 31 year old teaching from Melbourne, Victoria. I have 6 years experience in teaching, and have taught years 1, 2 and 3. The thing I love about teaching is connecting with young learners, building a strong rapport with them, and watching them grow and achieve their goals.
Outside of teaching, I love going to the gym, going for walks or spending time with my family.

I have had experience teaching a wide variety of students, across many different primary schools. I apply an evidence based approach to my teaching, and use what my students do, say, make or write to form my lessons. Students are provided work that provides a comfortable challenge, yet fun and engaging. I pride myself on my clear communication skills, and my calm and caring nature.
