About Sara
I am a French Canadian Teacher who moved to Adelaide last September (2019)! I decided to come here in Adelaide to get to know where my partner is from! I was living and teaching in London (UK) last year! I have my Education Degree since beginning of 2018 and I am very passionnate about my profession. I am not teaching at the moment in Adelaide because I still don't know how long I will stay here but for the time that I am here I would really love being able to help out children that needs general school support (tutoring, help with homeworks) or just people who wants to learn to speak French!

As a teacher, my philosphy is to structure my lessons around the kids interests. I love teaching kids to understand the reason WHY they have to learn what we are teaching them. For example, when I teach mathematics to children, I am always trying to give them activities relevant to their everyday life. If they are into sports, I am going to give them sports problems. I would also give them situations that they are probably living when they are at home or even at school. I truly believe that every kid have their own paced at learning and the biggest threat is the pressure, stress and anxiety that we put them through. That is the reason why putting on a positive environment inclined to learnings really is always successful.
