About Nicholi
I’m a university student who used to struggle with Math myself, so I understand how frustrating it can feel when nothing seems to make sense. Over time, I found an approach that actually worked, and that’s what I now share with my students.
I would describe my teaching style as a balance between fun and structured. I keep lessons friendly and comfortable, but I’m also firm when it comes to practice and consistency because that’s what really helps students improve. My goal is to make Math feel more manageable while still helping students stay disciplined and see real progress!

I take a patient and supportive approach to tutoring, focusing on helping students build confidence and actually understand what they are learning rather than just memorising steps. I usually start by identifying areas the student finds difficult, then break down concepts into simple, manageable parts. I like to use examples, guided practice, and step-by-step explanations, and I always encourage students to ask questions and think through problems on their own.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes long. A usual session includes a short review of previous topics, learning or revising a concept, followed by practice questions and exam-style questions to reinforce understanding.
I have experience tutoring students aged 8 to 18, covering both Primary and IGCSE Maths. Through this, I have worked with students of different abilities, including those who need extra support as well as those aiming to improve their grades further.
My lessons are suitable for primary school students and secondary/IGCSE students who want to strengthen their foundations, improve confidence, and perform better in exams.
