About Sumana
I am passionate about teaching and very enthusiastic about it. I want to make sure my students understand the material and feel confident about it with enough practice. I like to use different methods to teach when it is necessary and try to relate the material to real-world problems. I have the students enough practice to show they are confident about their learning.

I start with warm up questions that maybe directly related to the topic or can be used as a hook for the lesson to be taught for the day.
Direct teach for 10-15 minutes depending on the day of teaching the topic. Do practice problems if needed, followed by an activity or simulation, or practice questions while I actively monitor time to time.
End of the lesson is called exit ticket to check their understanding. If not satisfactory then teach next time using a different strategy.
