About Aurora
I have experience working at every level, from university down to preschool. I hold the belief that reading and writing must be taught simultaneously, and that phonics and the understanding of phonics are key to becoming strong readers and writers. I am well-versed at meeting students at their level. If something isn't working, I always believe that there are alternate paths to take. My motto as a teacher has always been this:
"Hard work is mandatory; struggling is optional."

I firmly believe reading and writing should be both fun and helpful. If you just need to get your grades up and pass your next test, I can help. If you want advice on how to improve your writing creatively, I can help with that as well! If you learn best through hands-on practice and terms explained as simply as possible, I am more than happy to craft a lessonplan just for you and what you want!
