About Dee
Qualified Bachelors of Hons degree in Fine art and Education (teaching). Over 6 years teaching experience from Primary -Secondary schools over Ireland. topics covered include drawing, painting, print making, calligraphy, sculpture, textiles(sewing etc), art history etc.
I specialized in Textiles during my time in college. Since then I have done courses in Puppet fabrication for stop motion and animation. I enjoy all aspects of art and strive to learn as much as possible to pass on to my students.

I am to create an environment in which allows my students to express themselves fully through art. With a guided approach to give structure to the lesson but also allow for imagination and individual creativity. I am for a student focused teaching approach rather than a teacher focused one. I always aim for my lessons to be insightful, factual but also fun. The best results I have seen were produced in the happiest of environments.
