About Sarah

I am a professionally qualified English tutor with 30 years’ experience teaching English as a foreign language. In addition to teaching general English at all levels, I have many years experience in preparing non-native English speakers for the following exams, which are required for university, job and visa applications:

IELTS (academic and general); GESE and ISE (SELT); Cambridge KET and PET; Cambridge B2 First; Cambridge C1 Advanced; Cambridge C2 Proficiency.

I also teach English to professionals from a broad range of business and academic sectors, and I am a registered English teaching consultant to Amnesty International in London.

About the lesson

My English lessons are always tailored to the individual, resulting in clear and well-structured tuition to help with your specific needs. Quickly identifying challenges unique to each student, whether grammar, writing or pronunciation, helps overcome those frustrating stumbling blocks that many learners face.

Introducing a little fun into the process relaxes even the most conservative learner, encouraging them to speak without fear of making mistakes.

I offer a trial one-to-one lesson to all students considering private tuition. The lesson is completely free and there is no obligation to continue.
