About Abby

(Abby), a freelance illustrator and artist. I have obtained a degree from Swansea University and pursued further studies at the University of the Arts London. Now studying anxiety management online at Harvard University, I have engaged in collaborations with Adidas, automobile companies for their illustrative needs, luxury brands, children's products, as well as publishers of children's picture books and magazines. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of designing a wide range of children's products. As a testament to the quality and innovation of my work, I have won the German iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, the China Brand Day award for outstanding artist, as well as the Gold and Silver Awards of Andersen International Illustration. In addition, i play guitar in a music band in my leisure time and I have participated in the marathon in Lhasa, Tibet where I won a medal, and the sub-division competition of The Voice of China where I made it to the final round. Regarding my work in illustration art and my life, when I was a child, I have identified my artistic path since I was a child and have never wavered in the face of any difficulties. I am deeply involved in it and never tire of it. I am very delighted to share my art and lifestyle with you. 【These are my introductions, I hope you have fun practicing Mandarin with me.】

About the lesson

1: Have a free conversation in Mandarin, or set a topic and practice with me.

2: I can prepare some cards for you to understand easily, or I can teach you Chinese songs if you want to learn.

3:My native language is Mandarin and I am in Shanghai. I have traveled to many countries in the past and finally chose to graduate in the UK. My advantage may be that music and painting help me communicate with you, good personality and patience.

4:You can speak simple Mandarin conversations, not suitable for complete beginners. pls feel free to practice Mandarin speaking with me, learn and try to understand the differences between different cultures, repect each other, you can ask if you don’t understand, and communicate in a friendly manner without racial discrimination. I'm very friendly.
