About Bryony

Hi, I’m Bryony ️

I tutor maths from KS2 to GCSE to A-Level and love helping students make sense of topics that once felt impossible.

I aim to help my students to feel confident in their abilities, and generally find maths more fun and enjoyable. Because it really can be!

I’ve worked with lots of different learners over the past 4/5 years, some aiming for top grades, others just wanting to feel more confident in class. I’ve personally seen how the right support can make a huge difference.

Maths can be incredibly frustrating when it doesn’t click straight away, so I try to keep lessons calm, supportive, and focused on breaking problems down into clear steps.

I’m currently in my second year at uni studying Mathematics, and I think being a student myself helps me connect with learners. I know what it’s like to be under pressure with exams and deadlines, and I can share the methods with them that actually work in real life.

I offer a 15 minute pre-session call so you can ask any questions you need before making any decisions . It’s a chance for us to meet, talk about your goals etc.

About the lesson

Lessons are either taken at the students home or in a public place such as a library.

️I keep things simple and step-by-step. First I’ll show you how to tackle a question, then we’ll practise it until it makes sense.

Every session is tailored to what you need, whether that’s building confidence, filling gaps, or focusing on exam practice. You’ll finish each lesson with clear notes and a plan for what to do next.

I find that isolating a specific topic and mastering this before moving on is key in thorough understanding and a retention of material. I tend to take this approach with most students.

I do also teach online using google.
