About Jack

I am an experienced ESL tutor with 10 years of teaching high school and college students, dedicated to providing personalised and impactful learning experiences. My teaching philosophy emphasises understanding each student’s unique needs, goals, and learning style, allowing me to create lessons that maximise engagement, understanding, and progress.

I cover all essential language skills—grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking—while incorporating interactive activities, discussions, and real-world examples to make lessons practical and enjoyable. About the lesson

My ESL teaching philosophy emphasises Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving (C³P). Creativity is promoted through storytelling, role-playing, and interactive projects that encourage students to explore language, express themselves, and develop confidence.

Communication is reinforced through group discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises that enhance fluency, listening skills, and comprehension.
