About Dee
Some info about me:
- I took 6 unseen essay exams in year 12 and due to this have developed an extensive understanding of how to ace these exams.
- I won a creative generation excellence award in 2021 and subsequently had my piece, Serial Cereal, displayed in the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art.
- I achieved an ATAR of 94.
- I got perfect scores in the subject of design for all of year 11 and 12.
- For my high achievement in year 12 I achieved the aspiring teachers grant.
- I was in school in 2021 and understand the demands of being a student. I went through online schooling and the ATAR system and thrived through it. I can empathise and understand the needs of the current year 12 context.

Hi, I'm Dee!
I am a pre-service teacher studying a double degree of secondary education and creative writing.
I am a young, engaging, tutor who believes that if a student is bored during my lesson, I am not doing my job right! I teach with humour and practical application.
I teach the QCE curriculum of Visual Art, Design, Film and Television, Literature, and General English. I specialise in year 11 and year 12 students and conduct my lessons online. My lessons usually last an hour and a half however this is completely dependant on the needs of the individual student. The beauty of tutoring is that it is one on one and that means I can tailor the lesson to a students individual needs.
