About August
I'm a 25-year-old pre-service teacher in the Bachelor of Education program in Antigonish, NS. I'm passionate about accessible education and adapting lessons to being something kids feel capable of doing. Every single child should feel like they belong in my classroom and I find great pride in developing connections to better communication.

I bring in a variety of materials in my teachings,including worksheets, books (Text as Instructional Anchors and single-lesson texts), poetry (including songs!), and games. I believe students learn by seeing and doing rather than simply being told. My methodology allows kids to make mistakes without harm or scolding. Mistakes are how we learn!
I do have experience with Grade 6 in the NS school system but I have methodologies and lesson creation for all elementary ages.
