About Simran

I'm Simran Singh, a passionate math and science tutor with 5 years of experience helping students excel academically. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, ask questions, and succeed. I specialize in math and science tutoring for middle school to high school, utilizing personalized instruction, interactive methods, and real-world applications to make learning engaging and relevant. What sets me apart is my dedication to nurturing critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a love of learning in my students.

About the lesson

The main objective of my teaching is to find effective teaching methodologies and techniques for tutoring mathematics and science to middle and high school students, fostering engagement and understanding.

Some of my key teaching strategies include active learning, where I encourage my students to find ways to learn through hands-on activities. I also use multimedia, such as educational games and videos, to help include different forms of knowledge and cater to various learning styles. Finally, I believe in connecting the concepts back to the real world and, therefore, using real-world examples to help students understand how they relate to everyday life.

I mainly teach from middle school to high school, but I can be open to other levels of learning!
