About Robert
Hey there, I’m Robert! I graduated from Pratt Institute’s writing program, which provided me with four years’ experience in editing and workshopping the writing of my peers. During my years at college, I also lead a weekend class for middle school creative writing and volunteered with elementary school kids in the 826 writing program.

My priority in a first lesson is to learn your goals. Whether working on creative writing, practicing essay skills, or revising an email, we’ll spend your time focused on your goals and interests. If you’re not sure where to start, we can discuss and figure out the first steps. When working on creative writing, it’s usually helpful to focus part of the lesson on games and prompts, and another half looking over your work. If it’s essays you need help with, the most important topics are often coming up with a thesis, practicing timed essays, improving focus, and transitioning between paragraphs. Above all, I want us prioritize what’s urgent, so please let me know if you have something upcoming (for example, an essay that’s due soon).
