About Michelle
Before entering the design industry, I studied art for two years and architecture for six. I hold an Associate of Arts, a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, and a Master’s degree in Architecture.
I enjoy the entire design process, from early ideas and sketching to construction documents, construction, and final presentation. Professionally, my experience includes custom residential design, landscape design, and restaurant interiors.
One of my greatest strengths as both a student and a professional has always been efficiency. Architecture school requires a tremendous amount of time management, and I learned how to balance design quality with deadlines. As a tutor, I help students develop those same skills so they can produce strong work without feeling overwhelmed by the process.

My tutoring approach is practical, visual, and tailored to each student. I focus on breaking down complex design and technical concepts into clear, manageable steps while connecting schoolwork to real-world architectural practice.
A typical lesson is centered around the student’s current project, assignment, or software challenge. We identify the main issue, work through it together, and end with clear next steps.
With about five years of professional experience in architecture and interior design, I bring both design and technical knowledge to my lessons. I can help with studio projects, Revit, SketchUp, construction documents, presentations, materials, and portfolio development. I am also very skilled in presentation and rendering programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Premiere, Enscape, and Lumion.
My lessons are best suited for high school, college, and early-career architecture or interior design students.
