About Gabriel

I am a practicing Civil Engineer with E.I. certification, currently on track to earn my P.E. license. My professional work focuses on transportation and water resources, where I apply the same problem-solving skills I strive to instill in my students. My academic journey began at Lafayette High School, where I graduated rank 1 in my class with a 4.2 GPA. I continued my studies at Louisiana State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BSE in Civil Engineering. While at LSU, I worked part-time as a tutor with the Department of Mathematics, helping students strengthen their foundations in algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, and physics. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to connect with students, meet them where they are, and guide them toward both understanding and confidence. Whether online or in-person, my lessons are tailored, approachable, and focused on making complex concepts clear.

About the lesson

As a practicing civil engineer with a BSE in Civil Engineering, I bring both real-world experience and a strong academic foundation to my tutoring. I specialize in helping high school and early college students master algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, and physics—particularly kinematics and statics, which are at the heart of engineering.

I understand that math and physics can feel intimidating, but I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance. My teaching style focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps, using practical examples when possible, and encouraging questions and exploration.

I offer both online and in-person lessons, tailored to your learning style and goals. Whether you’re preparing for exams, catching up on class material, or aiming to get ahead, I’ll work with you to build confidence and mastery.
