I am a passionate and dedicated guitar instructor and musician with over five years of experience teaching private students in various styles (over nine years of experience in general), particularly rock and metal guitar. My approach to teaching is structured yet flexible, ensuring that each student progresses at their own pace while building a strong foundation in technique, theory, and musical expression. I have performed at universities, cafés, and private events, allowing me to bring real-world experience into my lessons. My teaching is deeply influenced by music theory, harmony, and counterpoint, which I have explored through workshops and practical applications. Beyond music, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and have experience in AI and programming, which strengthens my ability to teach in an analytical and structured way. About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology My teaching approach is based on a structured yet flexible methodology that balances foundational skills with creative expression. I primarily use the "Steve Krenz" framework, which introduces students to essential guitar techniques in a step-by-step manner. My lessons cover: Basic to Advanced Techniques: Including finger exercises, strumming patterns, chord progressions, barre chords, and advanced soloing. Music Theory Integration: Helping students understand scales, chord structures, and improvisation, especially for rock and metal genres. Practical Application: Students learn by playing songs, riffs, and exercises tailored to their level and interests. Personalised Learning: Every student has unique goals, and I adapt lessons to fit their progress and musical taste. Typical Length of a Lesson Each lesson typically lasts 45 minutes to one hour, depending on the student's needs and focus areas. Qualifications & Experience as a Tutor I am primarily self-taught and have honed my skills through live performances at universities and cafes, as well as teaching private students. My experience gives me a deep understanding of real-world guitar playing, particularly in rock and metal genres, allowing me to offer practical insights beyond just theory.
