I have been tutoring mathematics since my last year of secondary school and have had to experience many different levels of ability. I have an A-level in Maths and it is a subject that is a big part of my course, as well as taking extra mathematics qualifications in school.

I tailor the approach depending on the student and assessing with them what they want to get out of the tutoring. However, I do usually opt for a very interactive approach allowing the student to engage in different activities throughout the lesson rather than just going through questions and answers to ensure a full understanding. I also do homework and testing but not regularly to try and monitor the progress.
