About Lily

With 11 years of experience as a singing tutor, I have taught over 150 students, guiding them to develop their voices, technical skills, and artistic expression. My lessons emphasise personalised learning, ensuring each student receives guidance tailored to their goals, level, and vocal strengths. I focus on vocal techniques such as breath support, pitch accuracy, tone, phrasing, and vocal agility, combined with performance skills, stage presence, and emotional expression. I also incorporate music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, and creative improvisation to create well-rounded, confident musicians. My approach encourages students to explore multiple genres, experiment creatively, and develop a unique, authentic vocal identity. I provide guidance on auditions, competitions, recordings, and performance strategy, helping students perform with confidence in any setting. I design lessons to be engaging, interactive, and structured, combining technical exercises, performance practice, and constructive feedback. My ultimate goal is to empower students to sing with technical mastery, expressive confidence, and artistic authenticity, while fostering a lifelong passion for music.

Through communication, I create a supportive, interactive environment where students share their goals, receive personalised feedback, and improve tone, pitch, and vocal expression. Integrity guides my approach with honest assessments, disciplined practice, and a respectful, focused learning space. Creativity allows students to explore multiple styles, improvise freely, and develop their unique voice, making each lesson engaging and fun. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence, giving students a well-rounded musical education. Each lesson is customised to your skill level, goals, and musical interests, blending structured exercises, guided practice, and interactive activities. This approach builds technical mastery, expressive performance, confidence, and stage presence. By applying MCIC principles, I help students grow as skilled, motivated, and creative singers while fostering a lifelong love for music.
