About Jordan
I am an outgoing and motivated teacher and lifelong learner. My approach is focused on creating confidence and independence in the student so that they can use what they learn from me in real life. Although I have a well-rounded education, my passion is language. I write short stories, personal essays, songs, and am at work on a novel for my 40,000 word MFA thesis. I am adamant that everyone deserves to have the tools to tell their own stories and engage with others' stories. No matter which of the areas you choose for your lessons with me, this will be my focus.

60-90 minute lessons focused on Analysing Literature or Writing Creatively I hold two honours degrees from the University of Chicago, one in English Literature and one in Creative Writing (Fiction). I graduated 'cum laude' with a 3.91 GPA in Spring of 2024. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing (Prose) at the University of St Andrews. I placed on the Dean's List for the '24-'25 academic year.
